Ministeral Training Northampton – A study of biblical models of worship, providing a context for learning specific aspects of ministry in the Pentecostal church. Observances and ceremonies to be surveyed include worship, marriage, communion, footwashing, dedications, funerals, and visitation. After completing this course, you will be able to: – Complete a self-evaluation of their personality and discuss the dynamics of group interaction. Describe how to conduct the following ceremonies: (a) Worship, (b) Communion, (c) Dedications, (d) Funerals, (e) Marriages, (f) Foot washing, and (g) visitation. Discuss stewardship for a contemporary society based on biblical principles. Manage the budgets and finances of a local church. Identify and discuss the various aspects of a caring church.
Meet the Facilitator Bishop Jonathan Jackson B.D, M Min Ed, D. Min. D.D.
Jonathan is the District Bishop and senior pastor of the Willesden NTCG. He began his Theological Training in 1990 at the Ebenezer Bible Institute and in 1993 commenced his Higher Theological Studies at Overstone Theological College under the guidance of Professor Clinton Ryan. He also has a Diploma in Ministry and Theology, Bachelor of Divinity, Licentiate in Theology, a Master’s Degree in Ministerial Education, Doctoral Degree in Ministry 2013 and Doctoral Degree in Divinity 2021.He has served as Principal of the Gloucester Extension of Overstone Theological College until 2001. In 2004 Bishop Jackson moved the growing congregation into the new worship centre “The Rock”, which now hosts around 400 people in attendance.
