Ministeral Training Northampton – A review of current musical types and styles utilised in Pentecostal worship, with emphasis on understanding the Scriptural role of music in worship. Attention is given to the various aspects of worship and the role of music in accomplishing them. This course allows for sharing of best practice, while allowing time to reflect and be challenged on current practises of music ministry in various contexts. After completing this course, you will be able to. Discuss the current musical types, forms and styles utilised in Pentecostal worship. Describe the scriptural role of music in worship. Describe the power of music. Plan and lead an effective rehearsal. Prepare, plan and lead a Worship Service. Develop and lead an effective Worship Team.
Meet the facilitators – Min. Michael Bolt BA (Hons) in Theology & Worship
Michael is a graduate of London School of Theology. He attained a BA (Hons) in Theology & Worship with an award for the most ‘Innovative and Creative project 2017.’ Michael is a trained vocalist achieving a Grade 8 certificate from Trinity College London. He is an experienced worship leader, soloist and choir director, who currently serves as the Music & Worship coordinator for the NTCG National Conventions. Michael is often invited to deliver training and workshops for worship teams and choirs within various denominations across the UK.
