Prayer Northampton

Abington Avenue United Reformed Church

Prayer Northampton – Our planet faces growing environmental challenges that affect communities, wildlife, families, and future generations. Therefore, we invite you to join us for an evening of prayer and reflection. This special gathering will focus on the crisis facing our planet and its precious environment. Together, we will consider what damages our world and explore how Christians can respond. Prayer gives us an opportunity to bring these concerns before God with hope and humility. Everyone is welcome to attend this meaningful evening, regardless of previous environmental experience or involvement. Come and share this important time with others who care about God’s creation.

Prayer for Our Planet

During the evening, we will focus our prayers on the environmental challenges affecting our world. These challenges include pollution, climate change, habitat destruction, waste, and the loss of precious natural resources. However, the evening will not simply focus on problems or difficult circumstances. Instead, we will seek God’s guidance about positive actions that individuals and communities can take. We will reflect on our responsibility to care for creation and support sustainable choices. Furthermore, prayer can help us develop greater awareness, compassion, courage, and commitment. By gathering together, we can encourage one another to make meaningful changes within everyday life. The evening offers space for quiet reflection, shared prayer, discussion, and renewed Christian commitment.

Northamptonshire Eco Churches

This evening takes place in association with the Northamptonshire Ecumenical Eco Churches Group. The group brings together Christians who share concerns about caring responsibly for God’s creation. Consequently, this gathering provides an opportunity to connect faith, prayer, environmental awareness, and practical action. The event takes place on Sunday 20th September from 7:00 until 8:30 pm. We will meet at Abington Avenue Reformed Church in Northampton, Northamptonshire. The church address is Abington Avenue, Northampton, NN1 4QA. Whether you regularly attend church or simply want to learn more, you are warmly welcome. Most importantly, let us stand together in hope while seeking positive change for our planet.      Mums and Tots – https://stretch-wide.com, Money Advice – https://stretch-wide.com ,
